Beehive State Honey is a local family run beekeeping business that operates primarily in the Utah county region specializing in "Cold Extract" honey; a new standard in quality. We keep Utah blooming. Do you wish to host bees on your property in exchange for honey reserves? See if you or your area qualifies. We work with private property owners who provide the land while we do all the beekeeping work. We also collaborate with property owners within our growing cities to promote a continued bee presence in rapidly developing urban areas.
Beehive State Honey offers that high quality artisan honey beyond any expectation. We care about health and flavor more than packaging. Through a specialized harvest/ bottling process, we have been able to achieve the best version of this possible; A stable creamy multi-floral superfood stored in glass containers for maximum flavor and shelf life. We will not compromise these standards. Even back yard beekeepers have a tough time conforming to these quality measures.
By understanding the chemistry of the supersaturated monosaccharides found in honey, we are able to arrest the degradable elements and preserve the pristine flavor and desirable natures of this superfood. Our honey has a wide range, and unique combination, of multi floral nectar varieties that make up the general melliferous thumbprint spanning a 100 mile stretch of Utah. More variety means a more sophisticated flavor. Unheated, unfiltered, unstrained and creamed just right to arrest the enzymatic chemistry and preserve maximum vibrancy. We aren't the ones to boast, the honeybees alone have that right. Our task is to defend human integrity and bottle honey in acid proof containers to seal in flavor, prevent chemical contamination and provide an indefinite shelf life . Adhering strictly to "Cold Extract" standards, we hope to be able to influence other honey producers all over the world.
We work with hosts like you to place beehives around Utah on private property. In exchange, hosts receive a bottled honey harvest. We perform all the care and maintenance for our gentile bees. Find out if you qualify as a host and put a corner of your yard to good use. If you live near to one of our locations, we already pollinate for you and you didn't even notice.
